What do a therapist, a retired school administrator, a retired airline manager and a retired music educator have in common? We all love to sing! Our musical backgrounds are as varied as our birth provinces: British Columbia, Saskatchewan, Quebec and Alberta and we are happy to have found each other. Four like-minded friends learning, singing and having fun together.  Mila sings soprano; Linda – alto; Ted – tenor; Rick – bass. Music is a big part of our lives. As well as singing in JUST US, we are all proud members of A Cappella Plus.

JUST US started singing together almost two years ago – just to see if we would enjoy the experience of quartet singing. We did!! And we still do! We enjoy a wide variety of musical genres. As we’ve worked together, our group style and comfort zones have been discovered.  We’ve found ourselves particularly drawn to folk, jazz and pop genres although, truth be known, we love it all.

We love the collaboration involved in making music together. It brings us great joy to sing for others and we cherish the idea that we might be brightening the day of anyone who gifts us with their attention.
