Our Consultant, Mentor and Guest Conductor

Willi Zwozdesky
We have been privileged to benefit from the expert experience and mentorship of Willi Zwozdesky. Willi is widely known and respected as a choral arranger, conductor and music producer. He is the Executive Director of the BC Choral Federation and the Artistic Director of the Vancouver Men’s Chorus.

Our Instrumental Leader

Nico Rhodes
Nico Rhodes is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, arranger and instructor who inhabits all styles, eras and genres of music. Recently, Nico was awarded the Emerging Cultural Leader Award from the City of Nanaimo. Three of the Made in Nanaimo songs were arranged by Nico.

Our Stage Director and Planning Partner

Joëlle Rabu
We are delighted to be collaborating with Joëlle Rabu as we plan this Made in Nanaimo event. She will be our stage director and will also make a guest appearance. Joëlle is an award-winning singer, widely renown as multi-faceted performer. She also immerses herself in stage work, recording, coaching and volunteering.
