The Sinclair Singers, under the direction of Sharon Sinclair, is an auditioned youth and young adult choir.

This talented and enthusiastic group meets every Thursday evening for rehearsals. They love to sing a wide variety of styles from classical to contemporary and much of their repertoire is sung a cappella.

Since the formation of the choir in 2006, they have performed at numerous community events, festivals and concerts. In the spring of 2016, the celebrated their 10th anniversary with a concert that included about 20 of their almost 50 alumni members!

Since 2007, The Sinclair Singers have proudly represented Nanaimo at the B.C. Festival of the Arts where they have consecutively placed either First, Second or received an Honorable Mention in their category. They have gone on to compete at the National level twice.

Each year, The Sinclair Singers enjoy preparing for and performing two of their own concerts for the public which take place in December and May.
