For Voces Gabriolae, it all started when Chris Bowers – our primary instigator – fell in love with a song, bought the rights to the music, and went looking for singers who loved it as much as she did to sing it with her.  Happily, not only did she find them, but she also found kindred spirits with a similar addiction to crunchy harmonies.

Since the successful launch of that first song the group has been rabidly accumulating other songs and have even performed some of them in public!

Based on Gabriola, our a cappella group has a membership of 8 to 12 hard-working keeners committed to home practice and the pursuit of rich harmonies. We rehearse on Wednesdays from 3 to 4:45, and are always interested in adding fellow enthusiasts to our “pitch hitter” list.
