Island Bel Canto Singers, directed by Fiona Blackburn, hosts Encore! Women’s Choir of Duncan, directed by Michelle Weckesser, as both choirs present a celebration of music by Canadian women at St. Andrew’s United Church, Nanaimo. The Harbour City Singers, under the direction of Lionel Tanod, present their 20th Anniversary Celebration at St Andrew’s United Church. Tickets from choir members and at the door: Adults $20, Students $12, Under 12 no charge.

Malaspina Choir, directed by Fiona Blackburn, presents Johannes Brahms’ A German Requiem at St. Andrew’s United Church, Nanaimo. Joining the choir will be the Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra, a wind ensemble and two guest singers. Tickets available through The Port Theatre ticket outlet, from singers and at the door.
